Heck yes!! The best of both worlds!! We love our Mexican food around here as equally as we love our pizza. I am seriously excited to share this recipe with you because I have tired about three different variations and this one is my favorite. I can’t explain why, it just tastes really good. I must be the ‘secret ingredient’ that I never would have thought to add. This one is seriously going to go into the normal rotation!!
1 tube Pizza Crust
1 pkg (80z) Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup (8oz) Sour Cream
1 lb Ground Beef
1 envelope Taco Seasoning
1 Tomato, chopped
1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 cup shredded lettuce
1 can olives
any other ingredients you like
Preheat oven to 375*
Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Roll out pizza dough and gentle press/push to stretch the dough to size of pan.
Back for about 10 minutes, until golden brown and let cool.
Brown the ground beef and drain.
Add the taco seasoning and make according to package directions.
In a small bowl, mix together the cream cheese and sour cream using a hand mixer, until no lumps are showing.
Spread over the cooled crust.
Sprinkle the ground beef evenly over the cream cheese layer and top with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and other of your favorite ingredients.
Cut into serving sizes and serve immediately.
