Date Night

Dream Vacation

For our at home date night in January I made a Slow Cooker Raspberry Crisp that was so delicious and we started thinking about and planning our 10 year anniversary trip, which is in two years.

I’m not sure if that was the best idea. I mean it was fun to look at hotels, resorts, and cruises… but it was eye opening and shocking to see how much things were going to cost. It was also eye opening to realize that we had no idea where we wanted to go. Did we want to stay state side or go foreign? Did we want to go tropical? Fly or drive? Cruise or Resort? Visit friends in different states or go somewhere completely new? We really couldn’t decide.

The Hubs remembered that when we were planning our honey moon, we stumbled on a little private bungalows and so we started looking for those. OH.WOW!!!! I swear everything has gotten soooooo much more expensive over the years. Or maybe I was just really naive back then.

Anyway, it was cool to look at things and we have a little bit of a better idea of what we want to do. We might need to revisit this date night idea again in a few months. 😉

There is nothing wrong with dreaming big. There is also nothing wrong with figuring out something else because the funds aren’t there. What matters is that we spent a few hours together with no kids around (they were in bed) and we got to talk and dream. Love is spelled T.I.M.E!!!

Check out this website!! You’ll be drooling and dying to escape for some one on one time!!
