Looking for a good sugar cookie recipe for cookie plates?!
I think this is only the second time that I’ve made sugar cookies, ever, but this is the first time with this recipe and I love it! It’s hard to do cook sugar cookies because if you wait until they brown then the cookies will turn out hard and crunch. But if you bring them out too soon then they won’t be cooked all the way. I feel like this recipe is perfect in timing and you don’t have to refrigerate for hours!! Just freeze for a few minutes! I’m sure you’ll like this one too.

2 sticks (8 oz) of Butter, softened
1 1/2 cups of Sugar
2 tsp of Vanilla Extract
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
4 cups Flour
Preheat oven to 375*.
Place the flour in a bowl and set aside.
Add softened butter to a bowl and beat until smooth.
Add the sugar and mix until well combine.
Add eggs one at time and mix well between each.
Add the vanilla, salt, and baking powder and mix well.
Add in the flour a little at time just until the ingredients are combined.
Divide the dough into 3 balls and roll each out on a mat.
Freeze for about 10-15 min and then cut out your cookies.
Bake for about 6-9 minutes.
