Korean Beef

Asian food intimidates me for some reason so I put this recipe off for a while. But I wish I hadn’t. It was sooooo easy and quick! This could be and should be one of your go to recipes! The best part…. It’s made from ground beef which is something that we always have on hand. Well, we always have ground elk on hand ;)!

1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1/2 tsp fresh Ginger, minced
1/4 tsp crushed Red Peppers
Oil for browning
1/2 bunch Green Onions, diced

Heart a large skillet over medium heat and brown hamburger (use oil if needed).
While the beef is browning combine brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, S&P, and crush red peppers.
Drain most of the fat and add the brown sugar mixture and let simmer for a few minutes.
Serve over a bed of rice and top with green onions.
