I shared a picture of this beautiful pizza on FB and Instagram last week and had requests right away for the recipe. So here it is!
I LOVE pizza!!! I think love might be a bit of an understatement. If I could order pizza every Friday night I probably would. However, the last few times that we have ordered pizza, I have felt sick afterwards. It has made it so I don’t look forward to pizza night anymore. I mean I look forward to the amazing taste and the bread (oh! how I love bread), but I dread feeling sick and bloated afterward.
So as I was flipping through the Fixate Cookbook I was thrilled when I saw a pizza recipe. Here is my adaptation based on what I had on hand.
1/4 Pizza Sauce
1/4 tsp dried Oregano leaves*
1/2 clove Garlic, finely chopped*
1 8-in Whole Wheat Tortilla
1/2 chopped Green Pepper
3 slices Canadian Bacon
Preheat oven to 425*F
Place tortilla on baking sheet and spread tomato sauce.
Top with green peppers, canadian bacon, and cheeses.
Bake for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is bubbly.
